From Porto Airport: Follow the signs to A3 Braga, and after turn take the northern coastal road (IC1/N13) to Viana do Castelo / Valença. A few kilometers after Porto turn right into IC1, in direction Viana do Castelo/Valença. Eventually, before you arrive in Viana, you will cross the bridge over the river Lima. After crossing the bridge, continue in direction to Viana (ignore the right turn to Meadela/Ponte de Lima) and after 2 km turn right signposted “Trânsito Local”. After 100m turn left and you will then eventually pass a bus station (on the left) and a Shell petrol station (on the right). After this take a left turning signposted 'Centro'. It's the road just after the high school. Go around the school veering to the left. After about 100m you will come to Largo das Carmelitas (Carmelitas Square) where the house is situated, facing .
