From Oporto take A3 in direction to Braga / Valença. At the Km 77 please leave on exit of Arcos de Valdevez. After toll continue straight until finding a junction Arcos/Ponte de Lima, turn left. To follow in direction to Ponte of Lima/Refoios/Calheiros, 3.5Km after you will find on your line the indication Paço de Calheiros. Still traverse 2Km and you will find the manor on your right.
 

The exact date of construction of this rustic house is unknown, although by the architectural style and archaeological evidence, it is thought to be late 17th or early 18th Century. This farm setting in the most northerly village of Portugal it close to the mountainous region of the Peneda-Gerês National Park, rendering it a most picturesque location.
