Casa das Barcas is a XVII century manor on the small wharf of Cais do Pico (S. Roque), facing the sea - where guests can fish and swim in crystal clear deep Ocean waters, 20 m away from the front door. With a splendid view to the mountain (Pico) and S. Jorge island, the house - recently restored, equipped with modern bathrooms and decorated with boat furniture (polished mahogany and brass) and travel souvenirs - offers the quiet atmosphere of a solid boat in a safe harbour in the middle of the ocean.
