Located in the village of Vacariça, near Mealhada, the Solar da Vacariça is a manor house in a farming state, with arquitecture dating from the 16th century. In it's history we can note D. Pedro II, King of Portugal, who spent the night here in 23rd of August 1704, during the time of the war with Spain. A few days in this manor house are certainly the best cure for the modern society stress, not only by the excellent location and it's calm environment but also by the hospitaly of the Sampaio Nunes family.
