From Porto Airport: Take the Auto Estrada (motorway), A1, towards Lisbon, turning off at the exit to Aveiro, following the signs to Aveiro. From Aveiro take the N 109 towards Ílhavo. 2km after Ílhavo turn left before bridge over the Ria, you will pass Ermida. Continue straight on for 1km and you will see the house on your right hand side.
 

A warm welcome is guaranteed at this famous manor house, set amongst the calm composure of its beautiful gardens. Some of the guest rooms are furnished with splendid four poster beds. Paço da Ermida is the residence of the founder family of the renowned 'Vista Alegre' porcelain factory, one of the oldest such establishments in Europe. Guests at this house are invited to tour the factory and witness the production of some of the most attractive porcelain in Portugal.
